Insurance schedules sometimes contain "wide tables"—tables with many columns. These can be too wide for a standard A4 page, leading to cut-off text.
Brokernote provides two powerful tools to handle this during the Review stage.
1. Reduce Font
The simplest solution is often to just make the text smaller.
- Locate the wide table in the review preview.
- Click the Reduce Font button.
- The system will shrink the text size for just that table to try and fit it within the page margins.
2. Transpose Table
Sometimes a table is simply too wide, and no amount of shrinking will make it readable. In this case, use the Transpose Table tool.
- What it does: It flips the table structure. Instead of one row with 10 columns, it converts each row into a distinct block of "Key: Value" pairs.
- When to use: Use this for very dense data tables (like detailed vehicle lists or complex location schedules).
- Result: The data becomes a clear, vertical list that is easy to read and fits perfectly on the page.
