The Schedule Reformatter

Overview

The Schedule Reformatter is a core tool of the Brokernote platform. It is designed to take inconsistent, hard-to-copy, or underwriter-branded insurer schedules, documents that are often difficult to read, contain inconsistent formatting, or are locked in PDF format, and convert them into clean, professionally formatted documents that match your brokerage's branding.

How It Works

The Reformatter uses advanced document analysis to:

  1. Read the incoming file (PDF, Word, or Text).
  2. Identify key elements like tables, headings, and long clauses.
  3. Rebuild the document using your specific font, color, and styling settings.
  4. Output a clean file ready for you to send to your client.

Output Modes

Brokernote offers two modes for processing documents:

  • Standard Mode: The default and recommended choice. It simplifies tables and layout to ensure the document is easy to edit and read.
  • Exact Mode (PDF Only): Tries to mirror the visual layout of the original PDF precisely. Use this only if the Standard mode misses complex layout details, as it can be harder to edit later.
