Setting up MFA

To ensure the highest level of security for your account, we recommend that users enable Multi-factor Authentication. This adds an essential second layer of protection beyond just a password.

How to Enable MFA for Your Account

Setting up MFA on Brokernote is simple and takes less than two minutes. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Brokernote, click on your profile (bottom left-hand corner of screen), and go to "Manage Account".
  2. Select the "Security" tab.
  3. Enable "Two-Step Verification".
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to link an authentication method.

For Organisation Admins

If you are managing a team and want to ensure MFA is enabled across your brokerage, please contact support@brokernote.com.au. We can assist by drafting communications for your team and providing reports on user MFA status.

FAQs

Why should I use MFA?

Passwords can be stolen or guessed. MFA ensures that even if someone discovers your password, they cannot access your account without the secondary code from your device.

What if I lose access to my MFA device?

Please contact your admin or support@brokernote.com.au immediately to verify your identity and restore access to your account.
